Precare Instructions
- Avoid alcohol 3 days prior to injections.
- Stop taking omega-3, vitamin E, and any supplements containing them for 7 days.
- Stop taking NSAIDs and any anticoagulants (like aspirin, baby aspirin, Motrin, Advil, etc.) 7 days prior.
- Stop use of all Retinol-based products to include those with Vitamin C and A for at least 3 days prior to the procedure.
- If necessary, begin prophylactic antiviral and/or antibiotic treatment for viral conditions, such as Herpes Simplex Virus.
Postcare Instructions
- Avoid blood thinners, alcohol (2 days after), and NSAIDs post-treatment.
- Use ice packs 15 to 30 minutes at a time, several times per day, to reduce discomfort.
- Refrain from strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours.
- Avoid makeup for 12 to 24 hours.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure for 2 to 3 days.
- Avoid intense heat, including hot tubs, saunas, sunbathing, or tanning, for up to 48 hours after treatment.
